ICT System Engineer
The Role
As an ICT System Engineer at the Finanzdepartement, Steuerverwaltung, Business Services, you will ensure the secure and stable operation of the existing business infrastructure in collaboration with the cantonal IT provider. You will play a key role in migrating the core application to a new container architecture, driving automation, and monitoring implementations for proactive issue resolution. Your responsibilities also include contributing to IT project planning and execution.
Requirements
Required: deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, network topology, and Kubernetes; experience in implementing and operating applications on these platforms. You should be an engaged, independent individual with strong technical and social skills, capable of conceptual and analytical thinking. An Informatiker/in EFZ qualification plus practical experience in modern container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) is needed. Additional education in business informatics is a plus. German proficiency is essential.
