Digitalization Specialist
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join BASE for 6 months, with a possibility of extension. The candidate will support the software development activities of Your Virtual Cold Chain Assistant (Your VCCA), focusing on improving and further developing the Coldtivate app. The position includes managing communications with the software company for the app's open-source release, optimizing app modules, supporting best software development practices, and coordinating with the data team.
Requirements
MSc. in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent. At least one year of experience in software development, technical skills in SQL, Python, Git, Docker, familiarity with Django and CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to Agile methodologies. Enthusiasm for climate change projects, great communication skills, and full working proficiency in English.
