Senior Electronic and Firmware Development Engineer R&D (m/f/d)

As a preferred supplier for Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a motivated Senior Electronic and Firmware Development Engineer R&D (m/f/d). This is a full/ part-time position (80-100%) with a duration until 31.03.2026 and the possibility of extension. The earliest start date is as soon as possible and the latest 01. December 2024. Remote/Home Office: by arrangement. Responsibilities: Embedded software development, electronic development from schematic design to system integration, concept development based on customer feedback, creation of technical specifications, feasibility studies, support after product launch, redesign of PCBs, migration to new microcontroller platform, code analysis, root cause analysis of issues, collaboration with experts, support to less experienced developers.

Hold a master or bachelor degree in electronic engineering with focus firmware development or comparable studies. 10+ years experience in embedded software development in C (STM32 is a plus), 5+ years experience in analog electronic design, knowledge in motion control (stepper motors), ideally knowledge in thermal regulation and Peltier application, very good English, German is a plus, independent and structured working style, self-initiative and teamwork.
