Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data

The Role

The Swiss School for International Relations is seeking a highly qualified and passionate lecturer to teach Artificial Intelligence and Big Data with a focus on applications in law, diplomacy, and economics. This role involves developing and delivering core courses at undergraduate and master’s levels, designing materials reflecting cutting-edge AI advancements, and fostering interdisciplinary learning. Additionally, the position requires contributing to curriculum development and facilitating partnerships with industry leaders.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a PhD or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Law, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or International Relations, or have equivalent professional experience. Strong expertise in AI, Big Data, and their applications is essential, alongside university-level teaching experience. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to explain AI concepts clearly and hold native or near-native English proficiency (French is an asset). Swiss or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit for Switzerland, is required.
