AML Compliance Officer

YAPEAL is seeking an AML Compliance Officer to enhance its risk management and compliance strategy. The role involves conducting risk assessments, providing regulatory insights, and facilitating improvements in risk management to ensure YAPEAL's secure innovation in fintech. You will be responsible for daily AML Compliance tasks, including monitoring adherence to regulations, supporting the AML Compliance Risk Framework, and enhancing compliance reporting. This position works closely with the CRO and requires due diligence, KYC and KYT controls, report creation for authorities, and monitoring high-risk client relationships.

The ideal candidate should be motivated to take on responsibilities in an agile company and have a strong interest or affinity for the fintech industry. Experience in compliance and/or risk management functions, particularly in AML & CTF, is necessary. A high degree of personal responsibility and initiative is expected. Fluency in Swiss-German and very good English skills are essential. The role includes organizing AML compliance training, developing the AML compliance framework, and testing new functionalities in the YAPEAL system.
