SLIM-Studie

We are seeking healthy, normal-weight individuals (BMI 19.0-24.9 kg/m2) aged between 40 and 65 years, who do not take anti-inflammatory medications and are not lactose intolerant. The aim is to study the metabolic effects of two gastric bypass surgery variants compared to healthy individuals. Participants will undergo four sessions including a baseline examination, breath test, study day, and colonoscopy.

Criteria: Healthy, normal-weight individuals (BMI 19.0-24.9 kg/m2), aged 40-65, who do not take anti-inflammatory medications and are not lactose intolerant. Participation involves a baseline examination, breath test, wearing a blood glucose sensor, keeping a food diary, providing stool and urine samples, and undergoing a colonoscopy.
