Research Scientist

The Role

The cardiometabolic & respiratory research group aims to improve cardiometabolic and respiratory health. The project focuses on understanding the metabolic consequences of spinal cord injury (SCI) and their interactions with neurological recovery. It involves proteomics and large real-world data with high translational impact potential. Tasks include reviewing scientific literature, synthesizing and analyzing quantitative data, preparing publications, and presenting at conferences.

Requirements

A PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a master's and a proven publication record are considered. Experience in project planning, patient-oriented data analysis, and knowledge of metabolic diseases, neurological recovery, and spinal cord injury are needed. Strong statistical analysis skills, excellent English proficiency, and team collaboration ability are essential.
