Data Scientist in the Data Science Lab

(60-100%) The Data Science Lab (DSL) at the University of Bern supports university-wide research in NLP, AI, Data Science, and Research IT. Tasks include consulting for research projects (20%), project work (60%), continued education (10%), teaching (5%), and team activities (5%).

A university or applied sciences degree, PhD preferred. Experience in NLP, ML, AI, and frameworks like Pytorch and Hugging Face. Understanding of state-of-the-art NLP models. Service-oriented with good English communication skills, German is a plus. Research experience and interest in publications are valued.
